This is a picture tutorial on how to Sign up for Linky, add a widget to blogger and use it to follow and read even if you don't have a blog
If you do not have a blog you can follow other blogs anyways. When you sign up simply do not add a blog in the area that asks for a blog. Scroll all the way to the bottom of this tutorial to see how you can use this to read the blogs you are following.

| Go to the home page and click sign up free. |

| Type in the Captcha to show you are human! |

| Fill in the form. You can change where it says Visit me to what ever you want. Mine says check out the life of a mom and dad raising 8 so when they hover over my picture in the widget that is what shows. |

| Next this is the screen you see when you log in. it will have all your blogs you follow who follows you etc. |
ADD A WIDGET TO BLOGGER OR OTHER WEBSITE

| I want to concentrate on a few neat features click get widget |

| On the top down menu click on your blog to make a widget for and click get code |
 |
| For blogger all you do is (highlight, right click and press copy) copy code that is in orange to your clip board you may need to use the other if adding it to a different site. |

| Go to layout in your blogger dashboard and click add a gadget. |
 |
| Click the plus on HTML/JAVA SCRIPT |
 |
Now right click and scroll to paste inside the box you see. press save and the linky widget will now show on your side bar where you added it. Now people may follow you.
Now back to your linky dashboard

I just started blogging, and I was 2 weeks too late to get GFC... so I was kinda stuck. Then I saw all everyone having this Linky thingie... and once I decided I wanted that too, i could NOT figure out how to add it to my blog. Like i said, Im new to the blogging scene...
anyways, your blog is the only one that told me to put it in the Html/javascript spot! That was my missing link... what I couldnt figure out!
