Green house and Garden project #Giveaway #win Miracle-Gro Expand 'n Gro sample

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Scotts® for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

The last post I did was on the lawn and how we need to  get it in order.  We also need to get the greenhouse repaired and get the seeds started. I am sure some of you have already started your seeds for the year.  The kids are going to love growing in this Greenhouse.  It was here when we moved in and really made me love the house more.  That and the plant room with all the windows which they just removed the fireplace from.

I have  small garden spot so I will be doing some container gardening this year as well.  To the left of my garden you will see some pots and an old tractor tire. Those have 3 different strawberries in them and I am not sure of the type anymore.  Past that is a patch of prickly pear and some lavender if it made it. I planted it last year and have not looked at it yet this year. We also have rhubarb, apples and pears as well as walnuts and mulberries. The Septic going in put an end to my asparagus that was there.

I have been a long time fan of Miracle Gro products for vegetable and flower gardening. This year they have a new one Expand ‘n Gro™.  All natural fibers holds up to 50 % more water than potting soil, expands up to 3x when water is added.  Also up to 3 x more vegetables and flowers!* It improves soil for future years and it feeds for up to 6 months. This will be great for my container gardening and to mix into my garden soil. We were going to feed and weed last year when the garden was harvested and never had the time. Imagine with 8 children no time.  Anyways this explains it a little more than I can.
Now  For the best part I am being sent a small sample to giveaway to one of my readers. If you would like a chance at winning one leave a comment on this post. Let me know how to get back with you if you win. If you want to add me as a friend or follow me on face book or any other means on the left  you can get another entry for each one. You must leave a separate comment for each activity.  I will use a random number generator to pick on this one as it will not allow me to use raffle copter with this editor I am using this time. Thanks for stopping by. Now I am off to my next adventure for the day. I am going to check on those construction workers and see how my windows in my room are coming along... and get some lunch.

I use Miracle Grow products too but have not heard of this one. Gardening this summer is going to be a challenge since the main gardener, my hubby, had a stroke. I am now in charge with my 14 years old grandson and his 12 year old sister. We are going to turn it into her 4-H project. I am going to try some containers for veggies as well. Most of my containers though are for flowers.

Thanks Paula I will try to do some more posts on gardening as I till and plant. I will be learning a lot about how to get the soil up to par for planting. I am so sorry about your husband i had read that before when I talked to you on here. I think that 4h is great though none of my kids ever got into it maybe one will sometime.
